Once thought too difficult for most violinists, the concerto is now considered one of the most beloved works of the 20th century, full of passion and beauty. Starburst, by leading contemporary American composer Jessie Montgomery, is stuffed with energy, and a fabulous feature for the Omaha Symphony strings.
