American Sign Language (asl)
Requests for American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation for performances should go directly through the Ticket Omaha Box Office. Please contact Ticket Omaha at least two weeks before your show so we can secure a sign language interpreter for you.
Assistive-Listening Devices
Assistive-listening devices amplify and clarify sound by cutting down or eliminating ambient noise. The Holland Center uses an FM stereo system that broadcasts the audio feed through radio frequencies to listening devices within the hall. You may check out a device from the Welcome Center in the ground floor lobby. There is no charge to use our devices, but a valid ID is required. Please ask an Ambassador for assistance.
Audio Description
Audio description for patrons with vision loss is provided free of charge in collaboration with Radio Talking Book Services. Requests for audio description should go directly through the Ticket Omaha Box Office. Please contact Ticket Omaha at least two weeks before your show so we can make every reasonable effort to secure audio description for you.
Binoculars
Binoculars are available to check out from the Welcome Center in the ground floor lobby with a valid ID.
Closed Captioning
Requests for closed captioning for performances should go directly through the Ticket Omaha Box Office. Please contact Ticket Omaha at least two weeks before your show so we can make every reasonable effort to secure captioning for you.
Curbside Drop-Off
The drop-off zone is located on the south side of the Holland Center on Douglas Street. Courtesy wheelchairs can be checked out from the Welcome Center in the ground floor lobby with a valid ID. You can request a wheelchair upon arrival by asking security or an ambassador. However, staff members are unable to transport guests to their seats. We kindly ask that you rely on your party to help navigate the venue.
Parking
Accessible parking is available in our Arrival Plaza located east of the Holland Center and can be accessed from Douglas Street. An entrance to the building is conveniently located near the stalls. There are also accessible parking stalls on Douglas Street.
Restrooms
Wheelchair-accessible restrooms are located on every level of the Holland Center. Companion restrooms and lactation rooms are also available. Please request the assistance of an Ambassador to direct you to the correct locations.
Seating
The Holland Center has wheelchair and scooter accessible locations where patrons can remain in their mobility devices or transfer to theater seats. Look for the designation when ordering online at ticketomaha.com or call our Ticket Omaha Office directly at 402.345.0606. Seating options are also available for guests with visual and hearing disabilities or those in need of Bariatric seating. Please contact Ticket Omaha to purchase tickets with these seating requests.
Sensory-Inclusive Performances
A select number of Omaha Performing Arts performances are designated as sensory inclusive for those with sensitivities to light, loud noises, or surprise elements of a show. These productions are presented in a relaxed, welcoming environment. Subtle changes to technical elements may include:
- low house lights
- the removal of strobe and fog effects
- avoidance of sudden changes in amplified sound
- Guests may use a break area and are welcome to bring headphones, earplugs, security objects, and tablets into the performance venue.
Sensory Kits
For performances that are not modified to be sensory inclusive, the Holland Center is still equipped with on-hand sensory kits and noise-canceling headphones for patrons to check out at the Welcome Center with a valid ID. Kit materials include sunglasses, headphones, verbal cue cards, and fidget items.
Service Animals
Service dogs and miniature horses are welcome inside the Holland Center and must always remain on a leash or in a harness. If you intend to bring a service animal to a performance, please notify your ticket agent at the time of purchase so that we can identify the most suitable seating location for you. All Broadway performances are reviewed by a neurodivergent O-pa staff member to create a Sensory Guide in partnership with Sensory Access. These guides outline moments where sensory difficulties could be experienced while viewing the show. Sensory Guides generally become available the second performance following opening night.

Street parking is available nearby on 11th and 12th Streets. Patrons can utilize the ORBT lane on Dodge Street for curb-side drop-off and pick-up. Accessible parking is also available in the Omaha Park Eight garage for select shows.

Wheelchair accessible stalls are available in all public restrooms in the venue. A companion restroom and lactation room are available as well.
Seating
Wheelchair and companion tickets are available on all levels of the venue, and can be purchased online at Ticketmaster.com or through the Ticket Omaha Box Office. Limited mobility seats are also available in the balcony. Please notify a staff member upon arrival for assistance with accommodations.
Service Animals
