Arriving for a Show

Here’s what to expect when you arrive for a show at the Holland Center, Orpheum Theater, or Steelhouse Omaha.  For information about Omaha Community Playhouse performances, visit their website.

what to wear

There is no dress code at our venues. Come in whatever you feel comfortable in! You can dress up or stay casual. 

where to park

Garage and street parking are available. Visit our Parking page for more info.

where to find your tickets

Log in at wallet.ticketomaha.com with the credentials you used to purchase tickets. You can share tickets with others anytime after purchasing. Present the revolving QR code for access at the venue — no screenshots or printing. You can add tickets to your Apple wallet or bookmark the ticket wallet on your iPhone or Android's home screen.

when to arrive

Door times vary for each venue. Your show time can be found on your ticket. Plan to come early so you have time to navigate downtown construction and get through security lines!

holland center

Doors: 2.5 hours before showtime
Box office: 1.5 hours before showtime
Seating: 30 minutes before showtime

For Holland Music Club shows, everything opens 1.5 hours before showtime.

For Scott Hall in the Holland Center, doors and box office open 1.5 hours before showtime and seating starts 30 minutes before showtime.

orpheum theater

Doors & box office: 1.5 hours before showtime
Lobbies: 60 minutes before showtime
Seating: 30 minutes before showtime

steelhouse omaha

Doors: 1 hour before showtime

security

Express security scanners will provide a touchless experience that does not require emptying of pockets or bags.

  • Outside food or drink
  • Flags, banners, or signs
  • Cameras/recording devices
  • Backpacks
  • Bags larger than 14” x 14” x 6"
  • Guns or knives
  • No weapons of any kind, including lawfully concealed firearms
  • Laser pointers
  • Hard coolers or similar containers
  • Sealed packages of any kind
  • Noise-making devices of any kind (i.e. bells, whistles, horns, etc.)
  • Illegal drugs
  • Selfie-sticks or other telescopic devices
  • Animals (unless a service animal)
  • Any materials constituting unauthorized advertising or promotion
  • Drones (UAS-Unmanned Aircraft Systems) or other model aircraft
  • Hover boards
  • Any other items deemed inappropriate or dangerous by O-pa security

bag policy

Steelhouse Omaha has a clear bag policy. Only clear plastic or vinyl bags 12x6x12 in. max or
small clutch bags approximately 4.5×6.5 in. max are allowed. Bag check is located beside the box office and can be purchased for $10.

Clear bags are not required at the Holland Center or Orpheum Theater but your bag may be inspected as you go through security. Please do not bring bags larger than 14” x 14” x 6" or backpacks of any kind.

concessions at our cashless venues

Snacks and beverages are available for purchase by credit or debit card only. You can convert cash to a Visa ReadyCARD for free on-site. Your purchased concessions are allowed into the hall.

preshow activities

Some shows have preshow activities like Curtain Warmers or Happy Hours! Check the event page for your performance to see what’s available before your show. 

venue etiquette

To ensure everyone enjoys the show:

  • All electronic devices must be turned off or switched to silent mode during the performance. 
  • The use of any recording devices during the performance is not permitted.
  • As a courtesy to other patrons, please dispose of all trash in the provided receptacles near the entrance doors of the hall.
  • No smoking, including e-cigarettes, is allowed in the buildings.

lost & found

If you notice you've lost something during the show, check the House Manager's Desk, Welcome Center, or ask an Ambassador or staff member. After the show is over, you can contact the security desk at 402.661.8555 to see if your lost item was turned in.
