Celebrate the 100th birthday of jazz legend Miles Davis with an engaging panel featuring local musicians and historians. Explore his groundbreaking impact on jazz—from hard bop to fusion—and how he reshaped 20th-century music. Then, hear the music come alive at Unlimited Miles on Saturday, April 11 at 7:30 PM at the Orpheum. Led by musician John Beasley—who performed with Miles at age 20—the lineup also features Marquis Hill (trumpet), Marcus Strickland (sax), Kurt Rosenwinkel (guitar), Ben Williams (bass), and Terreon Gully (drums).
