Join us for an in-depth exploration of Afghan music and culture presented by Fanoos Ensemble! Attendees will learn from professional artists about the intricate relationship between music and poetry in the culture, composition, and performance of Afghan music. With its focus on the unique rhythms and modes of traditional Afghan songs, this is a learning experience you're unlikely to find anywhere else. Don’t miss your pick of workshop on April 2 or 3 before Fanoos Ensemble performs at the Tenaska Center for Arts Engagement.
