Omaha Performing Arts presents the return of rhythm master Paa Kow to the Turner Park Stage at 7:30 PM Thursday July 25, 2019. The talented drummer and his Afro-fusion Orchestra will blend jazz, funk and African pop for Jazz on the Green audiences.
Growing up in a small village in Ghana, Paa Kow began to play music at a very early age. He is now internationally recognized as one of the most remarkable drum set players to tour in Africa, Europe and America. His traditionally inspired drum set is the only one of its kind in the world, guaranteeing concert goers an extraordinary musical experience.
Turner Park opens at 5:00 PM, with local preshow entertainment at 6:30 PM by the Blues Society of Omaha’s BluesEd band The Redwoods. Concert goers are encouraged to enter Turner Park via Farnam Court, 32nd and Farnam, across from Alamo Drafthouse Cinema.

There are two parking garages, easily accessible from Farnam Street, Harney Street, Dodge Street and 33rd Street. For Jazz on the Green event days only, garage parking is free from 5-11 PM.
Mutual of Omaha will have its surface parking lots open to the public for free beginning at 5 PM. Mutual of Omaha’s surface lots are located at 36th and Dodge streets; between 35th Avenue and 34th Street off of Dodge; and at 35th and Farnam streets. Metered parking is also available on the street.
