OMAHA, Neb. – (July 21, 2017) – Get ready to get down at Omaha Performing Arts’ free concert series Jazz on the Green at Midtown Crossing when the Bayou City Brass Band takes the Turner Park stage Thursday, July 27. The headliner begins at 7:30 PM at Turner Park, 30th and Farnam. The park opens at 5:00 PM with pre-show entertainment starting at 6:30 PM.
The Bayou City Brass Band combines jazz, R&B and hip-hop into one unique sound with a nod to the historical music of the past. Their blending of musical traditions has turned into a signature sound that moves audiences to get up and dance.
