The Piano Guys bring night of Wonders to Omaha’s Orpheum stage

OMAHA, Neb. (August 22, 2016) –  The worlds of classical and pop music intersect on the stage when The Piano Guys bring their popular musical style to the Orpheum Theater, Wednesday, September 21, at 7:30 p.m. The Piano Guys are brought to you through Omaha Performing Arts’ 2016/2017 Showcase series.

Hailing from Utah, The Piano Guys became an Internet sensation by way of their immensely successful series of self-made music videos, which have amassed nearly 1 billion YouTube views since 2011. Their 10-handed version of One Direction’s “What Makes You Beautiful” has garnered more than 50 million views alone. 

The Piano Guys’ family-oriented program is an all-ages hit, with audiences ranging between the ages of eight and 80. Their September 21, 2016 Orpheum show features a night of Wonders, hits from their fourth studio album, such as “Let it Go” from the movie Frozen, “Kung Fu Piano: Cello Ascends” and “Story of My Life.”

The Piano Guys feature piano player Jon Schmidt, instrumentalist Steven Sharp Nelson on cello and Paul Anderson and Al van der Beek. They have performed everywhere, including The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and The Today Show. They have also been featured in The New York Times, Fast Company, Buzzfeed, People Magazine and more.
