Tickets on sale July 27 for Distant Worlds: music from FINAL FANTASY

OMAHA, Neb. – (July 25, 2016) – Omaha Performing Arts announces the return of Distant Worlds: music from FINAL FANTASY to the Holland Performing Arts Center on Friday, February 3rd, 2017. The 8:00 p.m. performance is an Omaha Performing Arts Special presentation. 

Individual tickets starting at $30 go on sale Wednesday, July 27 at 10:00 a.m. and are available at TicketOmaha.com, by calling 402.345.0606 or at the Ticket Omaha Box Office inside the Holland Performing Arts Center. Subscribers to Omaha Performing Arts’ 2016/2017 Season can also add this concert to their season ticket order by subscribing at OmahaPerformingArts.org/SeasonTickets or calling the Ticket Omaha Box Office.

Back by popular demand, Distant Worlds: music from FINAL FANTASY returns to the Holland Performing Arts Center after their sold-out show in March 2013. Under the direction of conductor and GRAMMY Award ® -winner Arnie Roth, the program features the classic FINAL FANTASY music written by Japanese video game composer Nobuo Uematsu, performed by a live orchestra.

This performance features seven Omaha premieres, including FINAL FANTASY SERIES: Prelude; FINAL FANTASY VII: Main Theme, FINAL FANTASY XIV: Torn from the Heavens; FINAL FANTASY VIII: Balamb GARDEN ~ Ami; FINAL FANTASY VII: JENOVA COMPLETE; FINAL FANTASY IX: Roses of May; FINAL FANTASY Series: Battle Medley I-XIV.

The show also includes breathtaking HD video presentations from game developer SQUARE ENIX.
