Are you a pre-professional dancer looking to take your learning to the next level? Join us for O-pa’s first Dance Intensive! This one-day sampler led by Broadway artist and choreographer Ray Mercer will cover advanced musical theater techniques and audition preparation.

What to know:

• Registrants must be at least 16 years old.
• Choose-What-You-Pay registration is required for entry. The suggested amount is $25. If cost is a barrier, there is a $0 option.
• This is a sampler of a multi-day dance intensive coming Summer 2025.

About Ray Mercer

Originally from Omaha, Nebraska, Ray has set works on various companies across the country including Philadanco, Dayton Contemporary Dance Company, New Jersey Ballet, Dallas Black Dance Theatre, and DRA (Dancers Responding to Aids). He has performed as a guest artist with Boston Ballet and is currently in the Broadway production of Disney’s The Lion King. He is also a resident choreographer for the Ailey/Fordham BFA Program.
