Omaha Performing Arts Cosmic Optics: Exploring Divergence Through Visual Art Hot Shops Art Center Voices AMPLIFIED!

Join us for the opening reception of Cosmic Optics: Exploring Divergence Through Visual Art! This special gallery exhibition at Hot Shops features original visual art pieces by artists with disabilities from WhyArts, the Holland Community Opera Fellows, Quality Living Institute, and the Monroe Meyer Institute. 

The opening reception includes:

  • A Q&A with the artists moderated by Hot Shops studio artist Paula Wallace
  • A dance performance by Ollie Webb Center sharing two numbers from their annual inclusive theater production Tales of Italia
  • A spoken word performance by Ben Wenzl, teaching artist for All Writes Reserved and eight-time Omaha representative at the National Poetry Slam
  • A performance by multi-abled choir Gotta Be Me Heartlight Choir

Choose-What-You-Pay registration is required for entry. If cost is a barrier, there is a $0 option.
